Austin Berry is the founder of Purewater Capital and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. Believing that a boutique firm is better for his clients, he established Purewater Capital with a focus on transparency and authenticity. Austin oversees the firm’s vision, strategy, and business operations. 

On a personal note, Austin is an entrepreneur at heart. Growing up in a family that owns several businesses, he felt called to follow in his family’s footsteps. Austin graduated from the Neeley School of Business at TCU with a degree in Finance. He and his wife reside in Argyle with their three children. 

Partner, Investments

Corey Scott is the head of investments at Purewater Capital, where he oversees all aspects of portfolio analysis, construction, and management of the firm’s assets. His role includes a focus on retirement planning and risk management strategies for the firm’s clients. Corey has earned his CRPC® designation and brings over 15 years of industry experience. 

Corey graduated with a BBA in Entrepreneurial Management from TCU’s Neeley School of Business. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Corey serves on the board of directors for Lena Pople, a local non-profit dedicated to providing counseling and educational services for families in Tarrant County. He has also participated in various capacities on the financial, executive, and nominating committees for Lena Pope. Corey lives in Aledo with his wife and two sons.  

Partner, Planning Strategist

Timothy Hatcher manages the financial planning division of Purewater Capital and leads all client development activities. He has extensive experience with 401(k) plans, including the design, implementation, and oversight. Timothy is an essential member of the Purewater Capital team with over 15 years of experience in financial services. He graduated from TCU’s Neeley School of Business with a BBA in Entrepreneurial Management. Timothy and his wife reside in Fort Worth with their two sons. 

Partner, Operations

Kelly Atkinson serves as the Operations Manager at Purewater Capital. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations, which include managing personnel and client-related issues. With over 15 years experience in the financial services industry, Kelly specializes in client relations, account service, and collaborating with leadership to ensure top-notch service. Kelly resides in Lipan with her husband of 25 years and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
